Obituary of MaryEllen McGinnis - Williams

North Plainfield – MaryEllen McGinnis – Williams, 76, passed away Tuesday evening, April 25, 2023 at JFK Medical Center in Edison.

Born in Plainfield to the late Marie and Joseph Art, MaryEllen is a lifelong resident of North Plainfield.  MaryEllen and her husband, Lee were the owner and operators of Park Jewelers in Plainfield for over twenty years. 

MaryEllen loved to cook, cook books and writing down her own recipes; as well as baking and hosting her family and friends.  She also enjoyed watching cooking shows as well as QVC.  MaryEllen was happiest when she was with her beloved grandchildren and will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and Grammy.

Surviving are her husband of 38 years, Lee Williams; two children, Michael McGinnis and wife Janette and MaryLou Resende and husband Mark as well as her four grandchildren, Julianne, Ryan, Mason and Matthew and fiancé Kelly Simpson.

Family and friends may gather in the McCriskin – Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue South Plainfield NJ 07080 on Sunday, April 30, 2023 from 2-6PM.  Funeral Services will begin at 6PM.
