Obituary of Rose Nagy

South Plainfield - Rose (DeBisco) Nagy, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 24, 2013 at home. Born in Warren, Rose settled to South Plainfield in 1969 with her late husband, Alex. She worked as a waitress in various restaurants throughout North Jersey. Rose was active with the South Plainfield Senior Citizens and participated in line dancing, card-making and yoga. She enjoyed birdwatching while taking walks and reading. Rose most enjoyed spending time with her daughter, grandchildren and most of all, her two great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband who passed in 2003, Alex. Surviving are her daughter, Sandy and her husband, Michael of Branchburg, two grandchildren; Cassandra and her fiancé, Matthew Ehlbeck and Carly Bohach and her husband, Rich. She will also be missed by her two great grandchildren; Annalena and Jaxon. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 10:30 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield NJ 07080 followed by interment in Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains. Family and friends may attend visitation on Tuesday, November 26th from 3-6PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The National Audubon Society, www.audubon.org.
