Piscataway - David A. Eggers, 76, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at the Center of Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains.
Born and raised in Dillner, PA, David resided in South Plainfield for over twenty years before settling to Piscataway in 1994.
Prior to retirement, David worked with Smithline Beecham in Piscataway.
An avid hunter, David enjoyed fishing and watching religious television.
Predeceased by his wife who died in 2008, Lois and four step children, Darren Gorman, Michael Leavitt, Kevin Leavitt and Debra Panek, surviving are his step sons, Paul Graczyk of Piscataway, Stephen Leavitt of Lakewood, Thomas Gorman and wife, Sharon of Browns Mill and James Gorman of Bayville; siblings, Hannavee Sholtis of Maiden, NC, Elaine Williamson, Dillner PA and Duane Eggers of Hookstown, PA and step daughter, Lois Feher and husband Steve of New Hampshire.
He will also be missed by a host of step nieces, nephews grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Cremation was held privately.
